We’re headed to the AAA Four Diamond JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, AZ, for the 27th annual FEI Group National Conference.
You can expect to find over 300 acres of unparalleled luxury amenities, including an on-site spa, championship golf at Wildfire, five pools, a lazy river and exquisite dining. Nearby Downtown Scottsdale – more commonly known as Old Town Scottsdale – offers boutique shopping featuring souvenirs, jewelry and art with a Southwestern flair, or luxury shopping at one of the country’s best malls. A density of bars, lounges, restaurants and clubs offer a myriad of dining and nightlife opportunities within short distance of each other. And art fans can peruse the galleries of Main Street and visit the district’s contemporary and western museums.
It will be tempting to do nothing but soak in this unforgettable property, but we’ll still have our usual business-packed agenda and have allotted plenty of time to network with your fellow members, so come ready to work.
We can’t wait to see you in Phoenix.
Arrival and Departure
SupplyConnect setup begins at 8 AM on Wednesday, October 21. Set up must be complete by 1 PM on October 21. Please plan your flights accordingly.
Schedule your departures beginning Saturday, October 24 (the conference officially ends on the 23rd following closing cocktails) and enjoy one more night in Phoenix.
Hotel Reservations
FEI Group will make your hotel reservation using the arrival and departure dates you provide when you register. Please don’t make reservations directly with the hotel, as this impacts our ability to properly track our hotel commitments.
If you plan to arrive before or stay beyond our conference, we have a limited number of rooms available in our block. All rooms are controlled by the hotel and are based on availability. See the Hotel page for details.
Air Travel
The best major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX). The drive from PHX to the Marriott is 22 miles (less than 35 minutes).
Ground Transportation
You are responsible for your own transportation. You can rent a car or call for Lyft/Uber.
Attire
Dress is business casual for meetings and resort casual for dinners and events.
We’ll spend Thursday evening on the hotel lawn against a stunning Sonoran desert backdrop. We encourage you to dress the part and bring your elevated Western wear. Cowboy hats and boots are welcome, but you can line dance in sneakers if that’s your jam.
Activities
We are offering three activities: a shotgun tournament at the Faldo Course, a pickleball clinic and tournament and a half day exploring downtown Scottsdale. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also take the day to enjoy one of five pools on the property or float the lazy river. See Agenda for details.
Weather
October is the beginning of fall in Phoenix, but temperatures will be higher than most other parts of the country. The days are warm, pleasant and perfect for outdoor fun while the nights can be cool.
